How to get Google reviews for your shop the right way

A practical guide to asking customers for genuine Google reviews, replying to them, and what to avoid so your listing stays safe.

Reviews help new customers trust you and are one of the signals Google looks at for local results. The goal is simple: make it easy for happy customers to say so.

Get your review link

In your Google Business Profile, copy the link that lets people write a review. Save it on your phone, and print it as a QR code for the counter.

Ask at the right moment

Ask right after a good experience: after delivery, after a successful service, or when a customer thanks you. A short WhatsApp message with the link works well.

Example message

"Thank you for choosing us. If you were happy with our service, we would be grateful if you could share a short review here: [link]."

Reply to every review

Thank positive reviewers. For critical reviews, stay polite, say what you will do to fix the problem and offer to talk offline.

What not to do

Genuine review requests are part of our Brand Neenv Growth tier. We build the process; the reviews must come from your real customers.

Nobody can guarantee a ranking, a number of enquiries or sales. Results depend on your competition, your offer and how consistently the work is done.
